Do we only have 60 harvests left?

It’s concerning that so many of our soils are thinning. Some, very quickly.

But, there are things we can do to extend the lifespan of our soils. Take a look at the ‘conservation’ curve in the previous chart. It’s shifted far to the right – even more so because the lifespan scale is logarithmic – meaning these soils are eroding much more slowly than conventionally managed soils, if at all.
