New deal will see more stranded Australians return home via Darwin | ABC News

Australians in the United Kingdom, India and South Africa will be given access to charter flights to bring them home under a new deal that will see more people caught overseas by the coronavirus pandemic able to come home.

The deal, finalised today by the federal and Northern Territory governments, will give roughly an extra 5,000 people currently stuck overseas amid the coronavirus pandemic the chance to come home between now and March next year.
