A Georgia teen died after COVID-19 complicated his recovery from a car accident.
The teen, only identified as a 17-year-old black male from Dodge County, in the central area of the state, was left with multiple fractures after a recent car accident, the county coroner told WXIA-TV.
But he had also tested positive for the coronavirus — which left him with weakness in the lungs — preventing his recovery from the accident.
The details of the crash were not immediately clear.
